From live entertainment, local food and drink to high-level livestock competitions, there is something for everyone.
Main Ring Entertainment
As one of the finest open-air arenas in the country, the Main Ring is the place to be for edge-of-your-seat excitement. Across the three days of the Show, there is a non-stop timetable for of exciting and colourful acts and presentations. Whether you are watching a breath-taking stunt show, or admiring a parade of our prize-winning livestock, it is the perfect place to take a break, grab an ice cream, and enjoy the entertainment. A full Main Ring line up will be available closer to the Show.

live music & dance
One of the mainstays of the Show, the music that fills the air around every corner. Live music and dance can be found across the showground, but mainly at our two dedicated music stages and dance stage. The Kelly’s of Bodmin Stage and the Vertu Motors Stage have a daily programme crammed with a wide range of genres and styles from sea shanties to rock, and even steel drum bands! So sit back, relax, and enjoy the sounds at your pleasure. The Cornwall Festival of Dance Stage, situated near the Flower Show, features almost 300 performers across styles such salsa, contemporary and much more. Full programmes will be confirmed closer to the Show.

The Creative View Countryside Village
In the Countryside Village you will enjoy a magnificent cross-section of country life, both current and traditional. The area features country skills and expertise that are vital to rural life, with demonstrations from industry experts. There is also a demonstration area near the lake, looking at skills such as fishing, paddleboarding and coracle building.

SHOPPING & RETAIL
With nearly 1000 trade stands, selling everything from cars to cheese, you are bound to enjoy a bit of retail therapy. Highlights include the Royal Cornwall Food & Farming Pavilion, the Motor Fair, and our dedicated arts and crafts marquees.

Showcasing the county’s finest food and drink, you can meet the producers and sample a variety of products on offer. Cornwall has enviable resources, on the land and sea, with the dedication and knowledge to produce exceptional food & drink. Find our next favourite under our vast canvas marquee.
FUNFAIR, VINTAGE RALLY & STEAM FAIR
You’ll find all the fun at the fair at the Royal Cornwall Show. Experience the thrills and spills of a Victorian-era fairground. Complementing this theme is the Vintage Rally and Steam Fair with an impressive range of machines with the sights and smells of yesteryear.
FLOWER SHOW
Our Flower Show is one of the best in Country, and one of the reminding with traditional competitions in floral art and junior classes. The Flower Show marquee also includes the Cornwall Cider Championships and the Bees and Honey Section for what is a real summer affair.

FOOD CHAIN HUB
The Food Chain Hub is the perfect place for your little ones to have some fun and learn all about food and farming at the same time. The children can enjoy some hands-on learning with a range of activities, such as animals puzzles and colouring, as well as having a go a milking our (fake) goat Demelza!
LIVE ENTERTAINMENT
As if there wasn’t already enough entertainment going on around the Show, you can also catch our ‘live’ performers roaming around the showground to bring the fun to you. From talking robots, to dinosaurs, magicians, and much more, there is something around every corner.
WOODLANDS AREA
Forest and woodland industries are vital to the economy of Cornwall, which is why an effort is made to promote this with its own dedicated area. At the centre of the exhibit is a traditionally built Forestry barn, made from Cornish Timber. There is an active programme of demonstrations and talks that brings this area to life, including wood carving and tree surgery.

ANIMALS & BIRDS
There are a variety of animals and birds for you to get up close and personal with at the Royal Cornwall Show. Why not visit the cattle lines, and watch the prize-winners get ready for competition, or pop along to the Rare Breeds exhibit, or even meet a bird of prey in our Countryside Village. You’ll find animals and birds across the whole showground.
