Drivers will find the route well signposted from every direction. The showground itself is situated approximately 1.5 miles west of Wadebridge on the A39. Satnav postcode – PL27 7JE
When using a Satnav, as you approach the showground, please follow the signage and/or traffic stewards even if that is contrary to your satnav instructions. This is due to various one-way and alternate routes that may be in place at the time.
The Royal Cornwall Show closes from 6:30pm each evening, this is when the tradestands close. Entertainment in the Main Ring may go on longer.
Gates open for the general public at 8:30am each morning. If you purchase tickets online before the day of the show you can access the Show from 7am. Members, Junior Members & Life Members can also enter at 7am.

If you have completed your online order but not received your confirmation email, please check your spam or junk folders. If you still haven’t received it, sometimes it can be because payment hasn’t gone through or the contact email was typed incorrectly. Please contact tickets@royalcornwall.co.uk to assist you.
When your online order has been completed you will receive a confirmation email that contains an attachment with your ‘e-ticket’ which includes a QR Code. You must present the QR Code tickets at the gate. You can either print these tickets yourself or present them at the gate on a mobile device.
Please note – if you are presenting your tickets on a mobile device, we advise that you download or use a screenshot as we cannot guarantee 4G/5G coverage on site for you to access your emails.
You can buy Royal Cornwall Show tickets in three places:

2. Show Office – Visit the Show Office at the Royal Cornwall Events Centre and purchase your tickets from May onwards.The office is open Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.
3. On the gate – you can purchase tickets on the gates the day of the Show from 8:30am
Please note – Official Royal Cornwall Show tickets can only be purchased by one of the methods above, and are NEVER sold through 3rd parties or ticket sites.
Children under the age of 4 have free admission into the Show and do not require a ticket. Any child 4 or older should be in possession of a child day ticket, or a junior membership.

Yes, there is unreserved grandstand seating in the front row of the grandstand that is at ground-level, which may be a restricted view. You are also able to use reserved seats when not in use, but you will need to vacate should the person who has reserved the seat returns to the grandstand. Only one side of the Main Ring is made up of grandstand seating, the other three sides there is standing space available to Show attendees at all times.
Yes, a grandstand ticket can be purchased in addition to your admission ticket or membership. Reserved seating is available at the main ring grandstand and can be booked in advance either online or over the counter at the Show Office. Reserved seats can used throughout the whole day, and you can come and go as you like. You can also reserve grandstand seats on the day by visiting the kiosks at the back of the grandstand. But please note that these may be limited and are prone to sell out quickly.
Newquay Airport is located just a 20-minute drive from the Showground, with daily flights from across the UK. Visit the Newquay Airport website for more details. The next closest airport is Exeter Airport, which is around 90mins – 2hr drive from the Showground. You can find out about their flight services on the Exeter Airport website.
There are a couple of bus stops located outside the showground. One on the A39 at Whitecross and one opposite the Tregonnings Garage near the East Entrance Car Park. To check the most up to date timetables and for services stopping near the showground, visit Go Cornwall Bus.
All of our car park are located in open agricultural fields, therefore unfortunately, we do not have any facilities for charging electric vehicles.
Due to security reasons, vehicles cannot be kept in the car park overnight, nor can we allow any camping in the parking fields. Security will sweep the car parks each evening, and any unauthorised vehicles will be removed.
Yes, we do provide forward facing parking near the front in most of the parking fields. These spaces are used on a first come first serve basis, so if you require such as space, please aim to arrive at the Show early. Please place your blue badge in the front of your vehicle and make yourself known to the parking attendants to see if they can park you in the correct area.
Unfortunately, in order to keep traffic flowing and to reduce delays, our traffic team will direct you to the closest car park in use at the time you arrive, you will not be able to choose which car park you park in.
Parking is FREE at the Royal Cornwall Show, and car parks are located in fields adjacent to the showground.
There is a wide range of food and drink available to purchase in the Members' Pavilion. There are light refreshments served in the Tregothnan Hall in the Pavilion. There is also a food court located on the lawn at the rear of the building, as well as a fully stocked bar. There is also an exclusive restaurant for Members’ use only. This restaurant, run by Scott Young and his team, sources local and seasonal ingredients to produce a delicious multi-course lunch on the first two days of the Show. Yes! Dogs are very welcome in the Members' Pavilion. We ask that dogs are kept on a non-retractable lead and are kept to the Members’ back lawn and the Pavilion Centre, but are kept away from the light refreshment and bar areas, as well as the members’ marquees.
Guest badges are limited to 5 per Show day/per household. In other words, if multiple members are registered at the same address, the allocation is for the household, not for individual members.
Daily guest badges are available for fully paid-up members to purchase. Guest badges will give guests access to the Members’ Pavilion and its facilities, guest badges DO NOT permit access to the Show and a separate admission ticket must be purchased for the guest to enter the showground.
Unfortunately, memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Memberships work as an annual subscription to support the activities of the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association, and therefore non-attendance is not an adequate reason for a refund. Complimentary Show admission is just a benefit of this subscription.
Yes, we do offer gift membership for all types of memberships. We will post our a gift membership pack which includes a personalised gift membership certificate, which includes a message of your choice, within a presentation folder. We can either post this to the recipient directly, or to the buyer. If you would like to gift a membership, you can fill in our form or contact the Membership Team on 01208 817014
Unfortunately memberships have to be purchased prior to the Royal Cornwall Show and cannot be purchased on the gates. Online membership clos to allow time for members’ packs to be posted. Telephone orders for postage will also close on, again to allow time for delivery. After this point, memberships must be collected in person at the Show Office prior to first day of the Show. You can purchase a membership up until the Wednesday, the day before the Show, at the Show office, and purchase over the counter.
It is very important that we are made aware of any changes in name, postal address and contact details for a member so we can ensure that all correspondence, including your Members’ badges and passes for admission, are sent to the right person, as well as any information about subscription prices and deadlines. Again, there are several ways to do this, the same as above, the main three options are online, over the counter, or by telephone. You can also set up a direct debit, which means your annual membership will be automatically renewed each year. We tend to renew memberships in late January/early February, and your pack is automatically sent to you in May. To set up a direct debit membership contact 01208 817014
Members’ packs, including members’ badges are typically posted out in early May. If you order a Membership in May, you should receive your pack in the post a few working days later. If you order a membership online, there is no digital ticket, just a confirmation email, all members’ packs are a physical product. Memberships are an annual subscription that run through to the next Royal Cornwall Show. Adult memberships are priced at £TBC and Junior Memberships (4 – 15 years) is £TBC. Children under 4 do not require a membership. You can also become a Life Member, which gives you admission to the Royal Cornwall Show for the rest of your life, and can be bought at any age. The current cost of Life Membership is £1195.00.
A membership is an annual subscription to the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association and helps the Association to support local agriculture and the countryside. In return for your support, members receive the following:
- Admission to all 3 days of the Royal Cornwall Show
- Forward car parking (subject to availability)
- Reduced livestock and equine entry fees
- Use of the Members’ Lounge, Bar, dining areas and cloakrooms during the Show
- The right to attend and vote at all general meetings
- Take part in the election of councillors to the Association
- Free subscription to the Royal Cornwall Magazine (as published)
Camping must be prebooked and can be purchased online with your show tickets HERE. You can also ring the Show Office to book and pay for your pitch on 01208 812183. Pitches are extremely limited and are usually sold out several weeks before the event. Early booking is highly recommended.
The caravan and camping park is located on Edmonton Lane, adjacent to the showground and next to the village of Whitecross. Easy access to the Show is possible through the main pedestrian entrance on the A39.
Yes, dogs are welcome at the Royal Cornwall Show. We kindly ask that dogs are kept on short, non-retractable leads, and that you clean up after them. Please make sure you keep your dog hydrated, we do offer dog water spots across the Showground, check out the Show Map to find out where they are located. Dogs MUST NOT be kept in your car in the car park, but accompany you to the Show.
There is a free bus service than runs within the showground, linking key areas of the Showground. Please note that they are no dedicated facilities for disabled passengers on these buses.
If you have any questions while you are at the Show, you can visit our information point, which is located near the Members’ Pavilion, or look out for our friendly Show Hosts located just inside all the main entrances. They will be happy to help with any questions you have, from directions to the nearest toilet block to event hours, they will aim to assist you.
During the Royal Cornwall Show first aid assistance is provided. There is a purpose built and fully equipped first-aid facility located next to the main entrance. Services are provided by St. John's Ambulance and the South West Ambulance Trust. There are paramedics in key locations, and mobile responders.

Yes, we have a family area located near to the Members Pavilion just before the ramp on the main avenue. It is a play area for children between 3 and 7. Here, children can be left in safety. There are also baby-changing and feeding facilities here. The open hours are 9am – 6pm on Show days.
We have shower facilities located across the showground, usually as part of the permanent toilet blocks:
- Next to the cattle exhibition halls (including a disabled shower)
- At the crossroads above the cattle exhibition halls
- At the East Entrance (including a disabled shower)
- At the bottom of the ramp on the main avenue (including a disabled shower)
- Behind the Secretary’s Office
Most of the permanent toilet blocks also have a disabled toilet and require a RADAR key to access. They are located in the following toilet blocks:

Yes, we have several permanent toilet blocks located across the site which can be found on the show map. During the Show we also have some temporary toilet blocked available as well.
The use of small, quiet generators is allowed between the 7am – 11pm. But we ask that you please consider the comfort of the other guests around you.
The caravan and camping park officially opens on Monday 3rd June at 8am. However, if you have a caravan, tent etc. you can bring them on site from 8am on Saturday 1st June, but the facilities to camp will not be available.
There are mobile toilets and showers located at the camping park, there is also mains water points throughout the field. A local pub, petrol station and supermarkets are located just a short walk from the camping field. Please note that there are no electric hook-up facilities available.
If your registration number has changed since booking your camping pitch, please contact the Show Office on 01208 812183 or email tickets@royalcornwall.co.uk so that we can change the details on your booking. If this change happens after you receive your camping pack, DO NOT change the registration on your pass, but contact the Show Office as per the details above. We will inform the camping team of the change, and you will not need to change the registration number on your pass. Any passes that have been tampered with will not be accepted onto the site.
Don’t worry, this is correct. Camping passes are a physical product and your pack will be sent to you in the post in early May.
Yes, camping pitches DO NOT include admission to the Royal Cornwall Show. You will have to purchase Show tickets in addition to your camping pitch.
All pitches are bookable for the full Show week only, (nights of Monday 3rd – Saturday 8th June). The whole duration is priced at £TBC per pitch. Guests with camping pitches are able to use the pitch for as many or as few nights within the Show Week as they desire. You do not have to camp for the whole week.
A pitch is designed to accommodate either one caravan (with one vehicle), or a small motorhome, or a large tent (with one vehicle), and a maximum occupancy of 4 people. If your party is larger than this, or you have a bigger vehicle, you will need to book multiple pitches.
Yes, we offer a caravan and camping park during the Show week. Camping pitches must be prebooked before the Show.
Yes, we do offer a disabled carer/PA ticket scheme for those guests that need assistance in order to attend the Show. In essence, the disabled guest will purchase a full price admission ticket and on providing the relevant information at one of our dedicated kiosks at the Show entrances, their carer will be given complimentary admission. Yes, you are able to hire a mobility scooter or a wheelchair for the Royal Cornwall Show. You can pre-book and pay before you visit the Show with Advanced Mobility (Tel 01274 568131 or visit https://advanced-mobility.co.uk/collections/the-royal-cornwall-show-2024. Advanced Mobility will be located inside both North and South entrances, however If you enter the show at a different entrance look out for their 'Location Markers', also inside the entrances and they can deliver the equipment to you or simply speak to one of the gate stewards explaining that you have assistance vehicle booked and they will contact the Advanced Mobility team.
The majority of the showground walkways are made of hard surface, and tents and marquees are either at ground level or have a ramped access. The main Show Office building has a full ramp access, and the Members Pavilion is fully accessible and includes a lift to access other floors. Please note that some avenues between stands are on grass.

Yes, we have a Space to Change toilet facility located in the toilet block next the cattle exhibition halls. This facility is fully accessible, spacious toilet, that has an adult size adjustable changing bench and a hoist. If you plan on using this facility, please bring your own sling.
