The Royal Cornwall Show is not only three days jam packed with top class entertainment. It's also a fantastic opportunity to learn more about farming, food and the Countryside.

The Showground is littered with information and exhibits aimed at educating about various aspects of the rural way of life. From walking through the Food & Farming tent and learning about how different foods and drinks are made and produced in Cornwall, to watching the grand parade of the livestock through to learning about different breeds of animals, there are plenty of learning opportunities scattered across the Show.

Throughout the Showground you will find our child friendly ‘Did you know?’ boards, giving fun facts for children to read. These are dotted around for children to access and learn from.

You can get up close and personal to thousands of farm animals. In each of the livestock sections you'll find information boards about each breed, explaining their characteristics. You can take time to move around the livestock taking in the different breeds and what they look like, what a great opportunity!

You will also find on our maps lots of family areas highlighted, one of these being the ‘Food Chain Hub’. This area aims to educate children more on where their food comes from along with looking at different animals. This area compromises several different stands all highlighting different parts of agriculture in a hands on, child friendly way.

Why not give it a visit?
