The blacksmiths of Cornwall have a great new incentive this year.
For the last four years they have staged a blacksmiths’ competition at the show, run under national rules.
Well, they have served their time and the National Blacksmiths’ organisation has confirmed that this year’s competition will be part of the national circuit.
That means there will be entrants from not only Cornwall but from many different parts of the country, all wanting to impress with their skills.
It will be a show well worth watching.
